Easy peasy fried shallots

We all live in a world where time is super duper precious so I'm going to share a way with all of you to make one of Asia's staples in less than 5 minutes!

Fried Shallots.

Traditionally you'd need to break out a shallow pot or skillet, pour in a considerable amount of oil and stand there while the shallots fry in oil.

Not entirely difficult but time consuming. Plus the moment you actually take your eye off them... they burn!

What I do?

Slice shallots, put them in a small bowl and pour in oil just enough to almost cover it.

Zing it in the microwave for about 3-4 mins*Note: Please do a couple of experiments on your own because every microwave is diff but once you figure it out, you're set :)

Voila!

My favorite breakfast

Yup. Every Sunday we indulge in a lazy morning coupled with a home cooked breakfast.

The pup's is usually a bacon sandwich. Sometimes BLT style.

Me? I like it sinful. So here I have a three-cheese scrambled eggs (Parmesan, cheddar and mozzarella), stir fried bacon chips with zucchini slices and cherry tomatoes and two chipolata sausages.

Ahhhhhh blisssss :)
